ReDiscover Friendship House and Catherine's Place
Women and Children's Campus

ReDiscover offers one of the few programs in the state of Missouri that allows addicted mothers to bring their children to treatment with them.

Now part of ReDiscover, Friendship House and Catherine’s Place Women and Children's Campus provides a dignified safe haven for individual women and women with their children recovering from substance abuse.  ReDiscover empowers women with the skills necessary to sustain sobriety and become economically self-reliant. 

 ReDiscover is now Kansas City’s largest agency providing residential and non-residential services to women fighting alcoholism and drug addiction with over 200 women served daily.

Catherine's Place currently houses 10 families in historic Hyde Park.
                   
The Power of Your Donation:
$2,000 Covers the cost of one month of shelter, food and child care for one mother and two children.
$1,000 Pays for one month utilities for entire facility
$500 Pays one month childcare cost for one family
$250 Pays for one week of food for 10 women plus their children

Friendship House

Friendship House is planning for a complete restoration over the next year. We are not closing Friendship House; she is going a "restoration vacation" so that we may begin again to provide an atmosphere of dignity that the founders and staff so passionately believed, and still believe that the women that we serve so richly deserve.
