Get Involved

ReDiscover helps over 30,000 children, adults, and families annually.

Our programs change lives by offering hope and help for recovery from mental illness and substance dependency.

Each day over 600 people participate in one of our services whether it be a child in a local school, a woman in our substance abuse program, or a family receiving counseling.  Our Crisis and Access Intervention program is open 24 hours a day to screen, support, and educate individuals, families, and community members.

Thanks to generous community and government support, ReDiscover helps individuals and families receive access to mental health and substance abuse treatment regardless of their ability to pay. All donations are tax deductible according to law.  Your gift can be an anonymous donation.  Your gift can be given in honor or in memory of a special friend or loved one, on a special occasion, or to recognize a special health provider or caregiver. If your group would like to organize a fundraising event or activity to benefit ReDiscover, please contact Bev Hatley at (816) 347-3259

Special Donations
Gifts of personal property and specially purchased items provide tax deductible donations while helping ReDiscover deliver vital services. Our small space is limited only to what we can promptly utilize.   Donations of new or gently used items are needed, especially to help meet seasonal needs of clients.

Planned Gifts
Leave a legacy.  By including ReDiscover in your estate plan, you can help ensure that resources will be available for the needs of clients served by ReDiscover in the years ahead. Your gift can be made by making arrangements for a simple bequest, naming ReDiscover in a life insurance policy, charitable gift annuity, or charitable remainder trust. These gifts can provide you with income tax deductions, reduced capital gain and inheritance taxes, and can help your family avoid probate taxes upon your death while providing much needed support for ReDiscover.

Event Sponsorships And Ticket Purchases
Great fun for a great cause.  ReDiscover participates in an annual fundraising event each December.
Proceeds from sponsorships and ticket purchases benefit client services.

ReDiscover Foundation
Focus on the future. ReDiscover’s future community health care needs, whatever they may be, will be met.  Resources developed by the ReDiscover Foundation provide an opportunity for programs and services to continue to grow and be maintained even in economic downturns. The Foundation helps provide funding for programs, services and facilities needed by the growing population of clients.
