Jennifer Craig

PRESIDENT & CEO

Jennifer Craig has more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health services working in community, residential and outpatient settings as a therapist and administrator. She received her BS from Northwestern University, her MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University, and her MS in Organization and Management from Capella University with a specialization in HR Management. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a Society for Human Resource Professionals Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). As President/CEO she provides visionary leadership for ReDiscover in the delivery of mental health and substance use disorder services to help individuals and families achieve healthier and more productive lives.

Dr. John Wubbenhorst

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Dr. John Wubbenhorst has enjoyed providing psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and their families since finishing his training in 2004. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the The University of Central Missouri in 1993, and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1999. After graduating from his residency and fellowship training from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2004, he spent a year in private practice before joining ReDiscover in 2005. In 2011 he was asked to lead the medical staff at ReDiscover in his role as Medical Director for the agency. In this role, he strives to provide leadership in clinical best practices and to be a liaison between the medical staff and the other allied health professions in the agency.

Stewart Chase

VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGIC INFRASTRUCTURE & SYSTEMS INTEGRATION

Stewart Chase has worked for over 35 years in the healthcare industry, with over 25 years at ReDiscover. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Computer Resources/Information Management from Webster University. As Vice President of Strategic Infrastructure & Systems Integration, he ensures efficient and effective operations for ReDiscover’s integrated functions, including Facilities Operations, IT Infrastructure, Electronic Health Record Systems, Healthcare Information Management, and Risk Management.

Astra Garner

VICE PRESIDENT OF CULTURE AND STRATEGIC GROWTH

Astra Garner holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Astra successfully transitioned from providing direct client services as a Licensed Professional Counselor into serving in various leadership positions. In her role as Vice President of Culture and Inclusion Astra leads the organization in culture best practices and provides expertise and support to ReDiscover's talent acquisition, training, and quality departments with an emphasis in guiding our diversity and inclusion work.

Michelle Naus

VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

With a background in the healthcare, non-profit, and governmental industries Michelle has become a senior-level management and accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in finance, management, informational technology, strategic planning, and corporate governance. Michelle earned her BS in Accounting, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College of Missouri State University. She is a certified CPA, licensed in Missouri and Kansas, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She completed the Women’s Director Development Program through the J. L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and served as a board member for the Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City. In 2020, she was named CFO of the Year by the Kansas City Business Journal.

Darlene Thompson

VICE PRESIDENT OF PEOPLE OPERATIONS

Darlene Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and employee development with 7 years in Healthcare. She received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University. She is responsible for providing best practice guidance and consistency in employee relations, employee engagement, performance and learning management, leadership development, benefits, compensation and organizational development. She is committed to ensure that ReDiscover's organization-wide People Operations goals, policies, procedures, and programs support the organization's mission, vision, and culture.

Ed Cullumber

VICE PRESIDENT OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Ed Cullumber has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Ed is a licensed clinical social worker in Missouri and Kansas with over 25 years of behavioral health experience, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Family Service and Guidance Center for 15 years. Prior to this role, ED served as Director of Mental Health Services for 22 facilities operated by the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Angela Manns

VICE PRESIDENT OF WELLNESS AND RECOVERY

Angela Manns has more than 10 years of experience in nursing, behavioral health, and substance use treatment; working in residential and outpatient settings as a Registered Nurse and administrator. She received her nursing degree from Lewis and Clark Community College, her BSN from Kaplan University, and her MSN from Maryville University on the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner track. She is a Licensed Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse, and Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As the Vice President of Wellness and Recovery, she provides guidance and leadership for all medication-assisted, residential, and outpatient substance use treatment and agency-wide Nursing Services.

Jennifer Johnson

VICE PRESIDENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL INTEGRITY

Jennifer Johnson has over 10 years of experience in business operations and human resources with 5 years in Behavioral Healthcare. She received her BS from Millikin University with an emphasis in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. She is responsible for project management initiatives, leading the development and implementation of the Organizational Integrity Plan and organization reaccreditation. She is committed to inspiring organizational integrity and furthering best practices in the workplace.
