ReDiscover's Suicide Prevention Team is hosting a Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk for the second year in a row. Attendees can take a mental health or remembrance walk around Lowenstein Park, learn about suicide prevention and wellness resources available in Kansas City, and help fight stigma related to mental health. This event is free to attend.
ReDiscover provides more outpatient mental health services than any other nonprofit organization in Jackson County, Missouri and ProDeo Youth Center delivers a variety of prevention services and early interventions during after-school and summer educational programs. Together we will be able to better meet the growing mental health needs of youth and families in our community.
